JOIN 614 SQUADRON
The 2025-2026 Cadet training year begins in September 2025 and ends in June 2026.
Our weekly mandatory Wednesday training runs at
Montcalm Secondary School from 6:15 to 9 pm.
Weekly meetings include training in aviation, leadership, citizenship, outdoor survival,drill, marksmanship and sports.
Weekend trips throughout theyear include field training exercises, (FTX), gliding and summer training opportunities for select Cadets.

While we accept new recruits from September 1st to January, September to November are the main months when most of the recruits join us for the training year. The earlier you join, the more you will benefit from all we offer and more importantly, make friends.

There are no regisrtation fees or costs to join but cadets must participate in mandatory fundraising to suppor the squadron and the air cadet glider program.

The steps to join are easy: complete the online registration application then email the administration officer at 614rcacs@gmail.com to submit your supporting documents and confirm we have received your application.

NOTE: you cannot participate until all documents are received and reviewed.

STEP 1:
Now that you are ready to join 614 Air Cadet squadron, FIRST visit the online registration portal and submit the application form.
NOTE: All cadet applicatons must provide their OWN email address on the application, separate from their parents.
Enter your OHIP insurance number and expiry, not private insurance information.
STEP 2:
Submit the following documents to the Administration Officer via email to 614rcacs@gmail.com or phoenix.golshan@cadets.gc.ca

a photocopy of your Canadian birth certificate, OR valid Canadian passport, OR Canadian Permanent Resident or visa card

a photocopy of your Canadian provincial healt insurance card (i.e. OHIP)

NOTE: we do not accept certificates of live birth as valid identification

STEP 3:
After you have completed registration and have been accepted for membership, welcome to the Cadet Program and to the 614 Squadron Family.
Please wear a white shirt, black pants and running shoes on your first training night. This will serve as your uniform until you are issued your very own uniform.
